I do not have an extravagant budget, and sometimes I felt like everyone else was having all the fun going on vacations. It is not that I have never been on vacation, but I have not left the state of California in several years, and I do miss traveling. Recently an astute observer pointed out that I have some great views in the photos I take during my walks and hikes, so I have decided to take advantage of all the beauty nature has to offer in Southern California.
During my hike I set the timer and took a picture of myself, which goes to show how using a digital camera can often have pros over using a cell phone camera. Mostly, I just enjoyed hiking in the beautiful scenery.
